Waka Hourua (year 6-8) students are strongly encouraged to bring their own Chromebook to school. As of 2021, 100% of students participate in our BYMC programme.
For your convenience, we have a Cyclone Portal, which includes some recommended devices. All of these devices include their ‘White glove’ service which gets it ready to go for day one of the new school year.
A case is a must-have, as students take their Chromebooks home every day to charge. Headphones are optional but recommended (especially for students who prefer voice-typing with a mic on their headphones).
