Matt Farmer - Board Appointment

Growing up in Opawa and attending St Mark's from a young age, Matt is the great grandson of the late Geoffrey Wood. Geoffrey Wood was integral in the construction of the current St Mark's Church which was completed in 1953 after fire destroyed the original wooden building in 1949, and subsequently the updated construction of St Anne's Church in 1959, which has now been combined within St Mark's as the new chapel extension, after the 2011 earthquakes.

Matt brings a practical skill set having been involved in both residential and commercial construction for the past 23 years and running his own plumbing/gas fitting business.

Matt, his wife Brooke, and their three children are part of the St Mark's parish and have a strong interest in seeing the success, future growth and development of St Mark's School.
