Alex Summerlee - Vestry Appointment
Alex was nominated by the St Mark's parish vestry in 2022 to join the Board of Proprietors, and became deputy chair of the Board in 2024. Joining the Board has been a homecoming for him, having attended St Mark's School in 2003-04.
Alex graduated in 2014 from the University of Canterbury with a BA in French and Political Science, and an LLB (Hons). He completed his masters in 2020 at the University of Oxford.
Active in the Anglican Church as a member of the parish of Sumner-Redcliffs, and as Chancellor to the Bishop of Christchurch, Alex has a strong interest in the special character of the school.
As a partner at Parry Field Lawyers, where he specialises in civil litigation and dispute resolution, Alex brings his legal experience to the Board.
